Thyro-Cat centers treat feline hyperthyroidism with Radioactive Iodine therapy, the preferred method of therapy in both felines and humans. One simple injection destroys the troublesome overactive portions of your cat’s thyroid gland without causing any harm or damage to surrounding tissues or other organs. The therapy is effective and completely safe.
Cats need only stay at one of our feline thyroid treatment facilities for 3 to 5 days afterward, until the level of radiation in the body drops back down to an acceptable level.
